The latest weather forecast from the Thai Meteorological Agency said that from November 13 to 21, a cold air mass from China with medium to strong intensity will continuously cover the northern and northeastern regions of Thailand, bringing strong winds, reduced temperatures and dryness to the upper Thailand.
The mountain peaks and highlands will have cold weather. Meanwhile, strong cold winds combined with low pressure areas in the south could lead to heavy rain in some locations along the Gulf of Thailand.
Also related to the forecast of cold air in Asia, the World Meteorological Center in Beijing (WMC-BJ), China, said that from November 10 to 13, due to the influence of the movement east and south of a low-pressure area and low pressure trough at high altitudes, there will be snowfall and cold air from west to east across eastern Kazakhstan, southeast Western Siberia and western Mongolia.
These areas will have moderate to heavy snowfall, with heavy snowfall or localized snowstorms. In some areas, accumulated rainfall is expected to exceed 20mm, with total local rainfall exceeding 30mm. The agency's weather forecasters point out that since November 10, snow in the northern Hemisphere has spread across Russia and most of Canada.
