According to Izvestia, this year's Victory Day parade will be broadcast live for the first time on outdoor digital screens and media platforms (media farcade). The broadcast was produced by Izvestia in collaboration with MAER Media Group.
Not only will the ceremony be broadcast live, but there will also be additional captions of important information and comments, all synchronized to display at the same time on all digital screens. The broadcast time is expected to start at 10:00 a.m. (local time) on May 9, which is 2:00 p.m. on the same day according to Vietnam time.
Live television from Red Square will be broadcast in Moscow and the surrounding areas, as well as in St. Petersburg. Petersburg, Sochi,voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Tyumen, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd and many other cities across Russia. The expected audience is about 6 million people, and the total number of views including re-relocation can exceed 41 million.
Previously, from February 19, unique video content of the "Victory Day virtual Museum" project by Izvestia was continuously shown on MAER's communication platforms in many major cities.
Thanks to that, people and tourists have the opportunity to follow specialized documents about the Victory in the Great Wei Dynasty Guard War on the big screen.
Every day, images of veterans quoted from their memories, as well as 3D models of legendary weapons symbolizing the strength of the Red Army, are shown. This digital project also includes an introduction to important timelines and events that contributed to the Great Victory.
On the occasion of Victory Day, Izvestia also carried out a special project called "Two Worlds. A War, focusing on the history of confrontation between the Soviet Union and Germany from the mid-1930s to the mid-2030s.
