According to TASS, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the country's air defense forces shot down 375 Ukrainian UAVs in a large-scale attack lasting from the evening of July 15 to the morning of July 16 (local time).
The Russian side said that the above UAVs were intercepted in 19 areas, including: Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Yaroslavl, Moscow region, Krasnodar, Stavropol, along with the Crimean peninsula, the Azov Sea and the Black Sea.
Yaroslavl Regional Governor Mikhail Yevrayev informed that the UAV attack by Ukraine killed one civilian and injured four others. Victims have been taken to the emergency room, including three people receiving outpatient treatment.
Previously, Mr. Yevrayev said that the road connecting Yaroslavl with Moscow was temporarily blocked after a UAV attack by Ukraine occurred.
In the Saratov region, Governor Roman Busargin confirmed that many people were injured in the UAV attack on the city of Engels. Rescue and emergency response forces quickly arrived at the scene. Some civil infrastructure works were damaged.
