This is the latest development related to the murder of Hong Kong syn sync Choi (Thai Thien Phuong).
Accordingly, 41-year-old Lam Shun, the sixth suspect in the shocking Hong Kong murder case, appeared in court on March 6 on charges of assisting one suspect in escaping by sea, affecting efforts to arrest or prosecute the suspect.
The sixth suspect in the serious murder case against Abby Cho was given a court-ordered release on bond for 50,000 Hong Kong dollars (6,369 USD).
According to SCMP, Lam Shun was not required to make excuses in court because the prosecution had asked for a postponement for further investigation.
Lam Shun is believed to have staged the escape of Alex Kwong - syn sync Choi's ex-husband - after Alex was accused of plotting to kill the 28-year-old model on February 21.
Abby Choi was later found decomposed in a house in the suburbs of Hong Kong.
Alex Kwong, 28, with his father Kwong Kau, 65, and his brother Anthony Kwong, 31, have been charged with murder and released on bail.
Jenny Li, 63, Alex Kwong's mother, was also detained on charges of contesting the investigation process by allegedly destroying evidence in the police investigation on February 23.
Hong Kong police have also arrested a 47-year-old woman identified as Ng, for allegedly renting a luxury apartment in the Arch Sky Tower development area in West Kowloon as a temporary shelter for Alex Kwong to evade law enforcement.
Ng - believed to be Kwong Kau's lover - has been released on bail and has not been charged with anything but will have to report to the authorities at the end of March.
