NATO does not participate in Ukrainian peace negotiations
On April 5, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte affirmed that the US-led military bloc will not participate in ceasefire negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, while emphasizing that NATO is not a party to the negotiations.
Mr. Rutte said that there are no red lines set by NATO and the possibility of peacekeeping forces deployed by NATO is very low. However, member states can participate independently. South Korea sets presidential election date
The South Korean government decided to hold a presidential election on June 3, 2025 to select a successor to former President Yoon Suk Yeol after he was removed from office on April 4 for illegal martial law.
According to current law, candidates must register before May 11, and the campaign will start from May 12. The new president will take office immediately after the election results.
