Iranian state media reported on September 23 that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in New York (USA), where he is scheduled to deliver a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

State television IRIB posted a video of Mr. Pezeshkian getting off the plane, along with a caption confirming that the Iranian President had arrived at an airport in New York.
According to analysts, this is the first time a leader of a country in conflict with the US has set foot on US soil to speak at a United Nations event.
