In the early morning of July 16 Beijing time, China successfully launched the Thien Chau-9 cargo spacecraft from Van Xuong launch site (Hai Nam province), in order to transfer supplies to the Thien Cung space station operating in orbit.
This is the fourth supply mission during the operation phase of the Thien Cung Space Station.
According to the Chinacknock Space Administration (CMSA), the Truong Chinh-7 Y10 rocket carrying the Thien Chau-9 ship left the launcher at 6:34 a.m. About 10 minutes later, the spacecraft detached from the missile, entered a pre-determined orbit and quickly deployed solar panels. CMSA confirmed the launch was a complete success.

The Thien Chau-9 ship carried a series of important supplies, including food and household items for the crew working on Thien Cung Station, fuel and equipment for scientific testing and technology testing.
After stabilizing on the orbit, Thien Chau-9 will connect with the space station complex, to ensure a continuous supply chain for research activities in space.
This is the fourth cargo flight in China's manned space program since the space station entered the application and development phase.
This is also the 584th mission of the Truong Chinh rocket rocket family and marks the next step in China's manned space program.
With the completion of the operation and supply system of the Imperial Japanese Station, Beijing continues to strengthen its ambition to become a space power in the next decade.
