China plans to organize a large-scale parade on September 3 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Japanese Naismith victory, with the participation of many of the most modern weapons in the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).
General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping will speak at the ceremony.
Speaking on June 24, Lieutenant General Ngo Trach Khai - a senior player of the PLA - said that this parade will show off the "new-style combat capability" of the Chinese army, including hypersonic weapons and modern electronic devices.
Mr. Ngo emphasized that the introduction of the latest generation of weapons is not only a demonstration of capability, but also demonstrates the ability to adapt quickly to military technology trends and modern warfare.
PLA currently has the largest standing army in the world, with more than 2 million soldiers. The arsenal of this force is increasingly modern, including missiles, aircraft carriers, fighter jets and many high-tech systems.
Military parades in China are often held on major occasions such as the founding day of the People's Republic of China, the Japanese Socialist Victory Day or the founding day of the PLA. Units participating in the parade regularly practice on a large scale, including armored forces, air forces and other modern armed formations.
