According to Xinhua news agency, local authorities informed that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) believed by the Ukrainian side to be Russian on August 21 (local time) attacked a crowded shopping center in the city of Kryvyi Rih.
The attack killed at least 15 people, injured 130, including 29 critically injured.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the UAVs attacked the shopping center in 2 waves. The second attack occurred about half an hour after the first raid and targeted rescue forces responding to the consequences of the attack. He also condemned the incident.
The Russian side has not yet commented on allegations related to the attack.
Kryvyi Rih is an industrial city located about 60km from the front lines, which has repeatedly become a target during the conflict.
