Ukraine has lost about 1,330 soldiers in the special military operation area in the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on August 1.
According to the ministry's statement, Russia's Northern Operations Group has discharged more than 225 Ukrainian soldiers, the Western Operations Group has discharged more than 210 enemy soldiers, the Southern Operations Group has discharged up to 150 soldiers, the Central Operations Group has discharged more than 340 soldiers, the Eastern Operations Group has discharged more than 365 soldiers, and the Dnepr Operations Group has discharged 40 soldiers.
The Russian Ministry of Defense noted that in the past day, Russian armed forces controlled Lyubitskoye in the Zaporozhye region and established control over Olgovka in the Kharkov region.
The statement also said that Russian soldiers attacked drone production and storage facilities, along with temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian army and foreign mercenaries in the past 24 hours. Russian air defense forces also shot down 15 air bombs and 743 fixed-wing drones of Ukraine in the same period.
