There are 10,000 people across the United States who have participated in this survey. The results show that the percentage of white people who were asked and wanted to vote for former President Donald Trump reached 50%, compared to the percentage of votes for Vice President Kamala Harris at 38%.
However, the new Democratic Party candidate has a landslide lead in terms of the number of votes from minority citizens with a consensus rate of up to 70%. Meanwhile, Mr. Trump only received 12%.
The trend of minority citizens following the Democratic Party leader and white people supporting the Republican Party leader has also been recorded two months ago.
According to the Reuters survey in May and June, the percentage of white people voting for Mr. Donald Trump and incumbent President Joe Biden was 46% and 38%, respectively.
For minority citizens, 59% of those polled agreed with Mr. Joe Biden, while Mr. Donald Trump received only 9%.
This still cannot determine who will be elected president because both sides have a clear advantage after the survey results were officially announced on August 8.
According to the Pew Research Center, the white race has the largest population in the United States and they have occupied 72% of the votes in the 2020 presidential election. African Americans accounted for only 11% in that year, however, the US government has many high-ranking leaders who are black Democrats, which is why Vice President Harris's chances of winning are also very high.
When Kamala Harris became the official candidate of the Democratic Party, the hope for the first female president in the history of the American people was once again lit up after the unsuccessful campaign of Hillary Clinton in the US presidential election in 2016.
