Boeing, the manufacturer of seekers for PAC-3 missiles belonging to the Patriot air defense system, is unlikely to grant Ukraine a license to produce this type of equipment, TASS reported.
US President Donald Trump previously announced that Washington would transfer to Kiev the license to produce Patriot air defense missile systems. However, Boeing did not transfer the license to produce Patriot warheads to third countries, which could hinder the above plans.
In addition, to establish production operations, it is necessary to build supply chains and factories. This process will take a lot of time, the report said. In addition, the US itself is also in need of PAC-3 missiles.
Previously, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said on RMF FM radio that the production of Ukrainian Patriot missiles under a US license could be established in Poland for security reasons.
