Round 22 of V.League 2024-2025 has 13 players banned from playing and 2 members of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai team's leadership board are not allowed to perform their duties.

Round 22 of V.League 2024-2025 will take place over 3 days, May 9, 10 and 11. This round saw 13 players and 2 members of the club's leadership banned from playing as well as performing duties.

Notable in this list are 2 members of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai club's leadership, Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh and Head of the delegation Nguyen Tan Anh. Both continued to serve disciplinary action for insulting the referee in round 19.

In round 22, Hoang Anh Gia Lai continued to suffer losses without the services of central defender Dinh Quang Kiet (received 3 yellow cards) and midfielder Chau Ngoc Quang (received a red card). These are significant losses in the context of the mountain town team struggling to improve their ranking.

In addition, many other teams are also facing difficulties in terms of strength. The 4 players suspended due to receiving red cards include: Ho Ngoc Thang and Nguyen Van Duc (Cong An Ha Noi), Almeida Santos Janclesio (Binh Duong) and goalkeeper Trinh Xuan Hoang (Dong A Thanh Hoa).

In addition, 7 other players were suspended from competition due to receiving 3 yellow cards: Dao Quoc Gia (HCMC), Bicou Bissainthe (Hai Phong), Bui Duy Thuong (Hong Linh Ha Tinh), Dinh Xuan Tien (Song Lam Nghe An), Nguyen Duc Anh (Da Nang), Khong Minh Gia Bao and Atshimene Charles (Quang Nam).

The focus of round 22 will be the "reverse final" match between Da Nang and Quy Nhon Binh Dinh taking place on May 10, in the context that both teams are fighting fiercely to stay in the league. Notably, on May 11, coach Nguyen Anh Duc will make his official debut as the new "captain" of Binh Duong club.
