Round 17 of V.League 2024-2025 will have up to 8 players banned from playing due to penalty cards.

According to the announcement from the organizing committee, midfielder Dung Quang Nho of Hoang Anh Gia Lai club will have to retire from the match against Binh Duong on April 5. This is the result of the player having received 3 yellow cards in previous matches.

Meanwhile, 2 players of Ho Chi Minh City club, Endrick dos Santos parafita and Tran Manh Cuong, will also not be present in the match against Song Lam Nghe An. On the other side of the front line, Song Lam Nghe An also does not have the service of foreign player Eduardo Sebastian Zaracho Espinola.

In addition, Dang Van Toi and Bicou Bissainthe of Hai Phong will both be absent from the match against Thep Xanh Nam Dinh on April 6. In particular, Bicou Bissainthe was banned from playing after receiving a red card in the match against Quang Nam on February 28.

Also in round 17 of V.League 2024-2025, player Luc Xuan Hung of Binh Dinh will not be able to participate in the match against Hong Linh Ha Tinh on April 6, along with Adou Leygley Minh of Hong Linh Ha Tinh, who was also banned from playing in the match against Binh Dinh.

Since the beginning of the season, the rounds of V.League 2024-2025 have seen a fairly high number of players "suspended". The organizing committee has also taken many measures to limit players from receiving penalty cards when competing.

For these banned players, the teams will have to adjust their squads to face the challenges in the next round of V.League 2024-2025.
