5 Vietnamese fighters compete at Grand SF 2: Warriors event

Vietnamese martial artist Kieu Duy Quan meets his Chinese opponent in one of the notable matches at the martial arts event Grand SF 2: Warriors.

After the success of previous events, Cocky Buffalo - a martial arts training company and professional martial arts event organizer in Vietnam continues to bring good news to Vietnamese martial arts fans.

On February 15, the martial arts event called Grand SF 2: Warriors will take place at the luxury resort The Grand Ho Tram, Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The event is organized by Cocky Buffalo in collaboration with the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation, The Grand Ho Tram Strip and is broadcast exclusively on VTVcab. Grand SF 2: Warriors has 7 matches, including 5 matches with the participation of fighters from the host country.

The highlight match of the event will be the battle between Kieu Duy Quan and Zhou Haoran (China) in the under 70kg weight class.

Duy Quan is considered a new star in the Vietnamese martial arts scene. The 22-year-old boxer has a series of 3 consecutive wins in the professional kickboxing arena, including impressive victories over very strong international opponents such as Kwon Gi Seop (Korea), Zhang Zihao (China)...

Meanwhile, Zhou Haoran, although only 22 years old, has a wealth of experience in competition with 17 wins after 25 times in the ring. This makes the confrontation between Duy Quan and Zhou Haoran worth waiting for.

In the women's match, 2024 Asian kickboxing champion Tran Vo Song Thuong will compete with veteran Korean boxer Kim Ji Sun in the under 60kg weight class.

Another match that is receiving a lot of attention from experts is when Nguyen Xuan Phuong faces Wu Chen Hao (China) in the 63kg weight class. Both have more than 10 wins in the professional arena, the two boxers promise to contribute a match with very high professional quality.

Opening this event, Nguyen Thanh Dat will compete with Chankham Oathiphong in the 60kg weight class.

Despite having 9 wins after 13 times in the ring, Nguyen Thanh Dat - the representative from the No1 Muay Club training center of the "undefeated" Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat - is expected to face many difficulties when facing an opponent from Thailand, because Chankham has 63 wins after 85 professional matches.

The remaining representative of Vietnam, Hoang Dinh Manh, will meet Kobayashi Asato (Japan).

In the other two matches, Seo Ji Myeong (Korea) will face Yuan Wu (China), while Kwon Hyeon Woo (Korea) will face Niyomjit Pitsanu (Thailand).
