From July 21 to 31, the 2026 National Youth, Teenager and Children's Table Tennis Championship takes place at Tien Son Sports Palace (Da Nang City), gathering 660 athletes from 30 units from provinces, cities, sectors and clubs across the country.
At the tournament, athletes competed in 50 events, including team, singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles in age groups: 9 years old and under; 10-11; 12-13; 14-15; 16-17; 18-19; 20-21 and 22-23.
The 2026 National Youth, Teenager and Children's Table Tennis Championship is a tournament belonging to the national high-performance sports competition system held annually.
Through the tournament, young athletes across the country have the opportunity to exchange, learn, improve their professional qualifications and accumulate competition experience. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to evaluate the quality of youth athlete training in localities and units, thereby selecting outstanding faces to supplement the youth teams and national teams in the coming time.
The Organizing Committee will award gold, silver, and bronze medals for third place along with certificates to athletes who achieved results in each competition category. The tournament is expected to continue to discover and nurture young talents for Vietnamese table tennis, and at the same time contribute to promoting the movement of practicing and competing in table tennis in localities.
