The Organizing Committee of the X-2026 National Sports Games issued the Professional Regulations for Table Tennis at the X-2026 National Sports Games on May 11.
Accordingly, the tournament program will take place at Hai Duong Gymnasium (Hai Phong) from August 7 to August 16. Initially, it was expected that the table tennis event of the X-2026 National Sports Festival would be held in Ho Chi Minh City in December.
However, after being agreed upon by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Organizing Committee of the X-2026 National Sports Games and the consensus of Ho Chi Minh City leaders, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Hai Phong City, Vietnam Sports Administration, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, the competition program of the Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship 2026 is included in the program of the X-2026 National Sports Games. Therefore, the competitions will be held in August.
Professional regulations have specifically announced the preliminary registration time of units with a deadline on July 1.
July 20th is the official registration time for the final competition list of units for table tennis at the X-2026 National Sports Games. Each delegation is allowed to register a maximum of 5 male and 5 female players.
Table tennis. The X-2026 National Sports Games organized 7 sets of medals: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team.
At the 9th National Sports Games 2022, table tennis had 13 units nationwide participating.
