After the combination was considered a turning point for Vietnamese table tennis between two strong units, CAND and Hanoi T&T clubs, the result was quickly demonstrated by the overall victory at the 2025 National excellent young, teen and children's tennis championship.
The CAND-T&T team has achieved very impressive results with a total of 12 gold medals, 3.5 silver medals and 2.5 bronze medals (combined with other delegations), thereby continuing to affirm its leading position in the youth training system of Vietnamese table tennis.

The gold medal events include men's singles 14-15 years old (Nguyen Van Tuan Anh), women's singles 20-21 years old (Truong Bao Linh), men's singles 22-23 years old (Vu Manh Huy), and mixed doubles, women's doubles and mixed-women doubles at many different age groups.
Among them, the athlete who made a special impression was Nguyen Van Tuan Anh - a young tennis player from the CAND. At this tournament, Tuan Anh competed in 3 events and won all 3 gold medals.
Head coach Vu Manh Cuong commented: "Since the two clubs merged, Nguyen Van Tuan Anh of the U15 age group has been very impressive. He has won many titles in recent times. In the Southeast Asian Youth Championship, the men's doubles champion, in the youth tournament in Ninh Binh, won 3 gold medals in men's singles, men's doubles and men's teammates. At this tournament, Tuan Anh participated in 3 events and also won gold medals in men's doubles, mixed doubles and men's singles.
He is an example of the success of the combination of the two clubs. Tuan Anh started from the CAND workshop, after a period of further training under the hands of Hanoi T&T teachers, he has developed brilliantly day by day".
Also in this tournament, another face that attracted attention was Vu Manh Huy - the son of coach Vu Manh Cuong. Competing at the U22-23 age group, Manh Huy also won all 3 gold medals in 3 events.
The coach of the CAND-T&T table tennis team could not hide his pride: "Meng Huy's achievements come from the efforts during the training process, along with the closeness and investment of the coaching staff. Before that, at the national tournament, he also won a few gold medals. Starting with a 22-year-old athlete like that is relatively good, we need to try harder."

According to coach Vu Manh Cuong, one of the important factors that helps the CAND-T&T team develop more and more is the special attention from the leaders of the two management units.
"The important thing for the club to develop is the attention from the police leadership as well as the leadership of T&T Group. The coaching staff also has solidarity and continuous professional research to guide the athletes. The young players from the People's Public Security prison have now joined the new club, and are being cared for by their coaches in each front line, with a better coaching staff, so they have to practice more carefully," said Mr. Cuong.
Looking back on the competition journey at the tournament, coach Manh Cuong also highly appreciated the spirit of continuous efforts of the young athletes: "Each tournament has a different nature. With this tournament, in terms of expertise, the children have promoted the good points and strengths that they have worked hard to practice in the past time.
I am very impressed with the children that in the qualifying round, they may not be very good, but then they won the gold medal. This shows the efforts and hard work of the children".
Finally, coach Vu Manh Cuong said that the club's next goal is to prepare the best force for the SEA Games, where promising young faces will have the opportunity to compete and contribute to the country's table tennis.
