On the afternoon of February 14, the People's Committee of Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province, officially announced the change of the organization time of the Chim Half Marathon 2025.
According to the previous announcement, the Chim Half Marathon 2025 - Running towards Childhood, implemented by local authorities in coordination with Stop And Sports, will take place on March 8 and 9 "to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tuy Phuoc Liberation Day, March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025, towards the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025".
However, the plan was forced to be adjusted; the tournament organization time was postponed to August 2 - 3, 2025. Mr. Nguyen Hung Tan, Vice Chairman of Tuy Phuoc District People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award, explained: "The expected time of organizing the giai is related to many festival activities in the locality; causing difficulties in infrastructure and other objective conditions".
A representative of the Organizing Committee of the Half Marathon Bridge 2025 expressed: "We are very sorry and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and unexpected changes, and hope to receive sympathy from the athletes and those who are interested".
Held for the first time in the famous mangrove ecosystem space of Con Chim - Thi Nai, Con Chim Half Marathon 2025 has nearly 2,000 registered athletes. The race takes place on a track of 5 distances: 600m; 1.2km; 21km; 10km and 5km, of which, 3 distances are 5km, 10km, 21km for adults, 2 distances are 600m, 1.2km for children.
