Vietnamese players are temporarily ranked second in Group A at the 2025 U21 Women's Volleyball World Cup.

After three group stage matches of the 2025 U21 Women's Volleyball World Cup, coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team are temporarily holding second place in Group A.

We have won three matches, reaching a total of 9 points. In this group, the U21 Argentina team leads with three wins (a total of 9 points) but the score is higher than Vietnam.

The teams behind the Vietnam U21 and Argentina U21 Women's Volleyball Teams are Indonesia U21, Serbia U21, Puerto Rico U21 and Canada U21. The U21 Canada team has lost three matches so far.

The teams have a day off (August 10) then return to compete in the final matches. We will meet U21 Argentina on August 11 and U21 Puerto Rico on August 12. According to the regulations, the four teams with the best results in the group stage will participate in the next knockout qualifying round.

The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team has secured a place in the next round. However, we still focus on competing in the group stage to achieve the best ranking to avoid strong opponents when competing directly.

The coaching staff of the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team said that the players are in good health and there are no injuries at the moment.

The 2025 U21 Women's Volleyball World Cup will be held in Surabaya (Indonesia) from August 7 to August 17. This is the most important international task of head coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his students in 2025. After the tournament, young Vietnamese players completed their international training.
