On the evening of November 28, U17 Vietnam won 4-0 against U17 Macau (China) in the 4th match of Group C of the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers. Coach Cristiano Roland's team started proactively and quickly made a difference in the 10th minute with Dinh Vy's accurate cross-angle shot.
The advantage was further doubled in the 21st minute when Manh Quan took advantage of the mistake of the opponent's defense after Quy Vuong's corner kick. In the 33rd minute, Ngoc Son increased the score to 3-0 after a technical combination with Quy Vuong. Before the end of the first half, Duy Khang scored from a corner kick, helping U17 Vietnam lead 4-0.
In the second half, Macau (China) tightened their defense, making it difficult for U17 Vietnam to find more goals. Despite holding a goodipch and creating some opportunities, the young team could not score more goals but still completely controlled the game.
After four matches, U17 Vietnam continues to lead Group C with 12 absolute points, scoring 26 goals and conceding none. Malaysia is right behind, also has 12 points but is behind (+20 compared to +26). The two teams will meet in the final round - the match that will decide the top spot in the group.
Meanwhile, ranked 3rd in Group C is Hong Kong (China) with 6 points (2 wins, 2 losses) and 4th is U17 Singapore with 4 points (1 win, 1 draw, 2 losses). The two bottom positions are U17 Macau (China) with 1 point and U17 Northern Mariana Islands with no points yet.
