After 2 days of exciting competition, the 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival 2024 was successful with 6 competition events.
On November 1, right after the opening ceremony, the three competitions of tug of war, walking, and chess were held. The Organizing Committee awarded medals to the teams that achieved results in these three events.
On the afternoon of November 2, the badminton and table tennis competitions also ended. The Organizing Committee awarded medals to the athletes with the highest achievements. These were the last two events to be awarded at the 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival.
Lao Dong Newspaper participated in 2 events: badminton and table tennis. In table tennis, Lao Dong Newspaper won 1 Gold Medal in women's singles, 1 Silver Medal in mixed doubles, and 2 Bronze Medals in men's singles.
The 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival in 2024 has nearly 400 athletes from the Vietnam Journalists Association, Journalists Associations of provinces and cities, central press agencies, ministries and branches participating in the competition.
