The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has not lost any international matches since the beginning of 2025 (before the VTV Cup semi-final) but the coaching staff has prepared carefully before the upcoming SEA V.League 2025.

preparation for the Southeast Asian match has been taken into account

The Vietnam women's volleyball team is participating in the VTV Cup 2025. This year, once again, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team are in the group of 4 teams with the best results at the VTV Cup. Immediately after this tournament, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will continue to participate in the 2025 SEA V.League (including 2 matches in Vietnam and Thailand).

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet soon determined the specific professional preparation: Currently, the team is competing in Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho. The coaching staff determined that each match was an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their expertise.

We create conditions for all players to play at the stadium to compete to the best of their abilities at the VTV Cup 2025. After the tournament, the whole team continues to prepare to participate in the SEA V.League 2025. It is a highly professional tournament with the participation of the 4 best teams in Southeast Asia".

Giving a professional perspective, the representative of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation said that in all the SEA V.League tournaments, the competitiveness from the direct matches has helped the top teams in Southeast Asia check their expertise most effectively. This year, Vietnamese sports and many countries are preparing for the 33rd SEA Games.

Therefore, the 2025 SEA V.League is expected to have a fierce competition as the 4 Women's Volleyball Teams of Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia are finding the best squad for themselves. We know that in the first round of the 2025 SEA V.League, all teams have registered their best players.

Southeast Asian volleyball is receiving increasingly widespread support, so fans in countries really want to see their top players compete, Vice President of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation - Mr. Tran Duc Phan once shared.

Real professional value

The Vietnam women's volleyball team has not announced the list of players expected to participate in the SEA V.League 2025. However, the remaining 3 teams, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, have committed to sending players to officially compete.

After 4 times of the SEA V.League organized by the Southeast Asian Volleyball Federation 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024), the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team has never won the championship. This year, we really want to conquer the tournament with the highest position.

As the person who directly guides the Vietnam National Team players to participate in the SEA V.League from 2022 to present, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet once said: "Through each competition, we see Vietnamese players more mature.

We dare to play fair against each opponent, especially the Thai Women's Volleyball Team. The professional quality of the tournament is valuable for Vietnamese players to increase their qualifications because each team participates with key players competing.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team has completed the last 2 international missions including AVC Nations Cup 2025 (June 2025), VTV Cup 2025 (July 2025). Mr. Kiet's requirement is that from practical competition, players need to learn lessons from experience.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet once analyzed: "We are under great pressure to win the 33rd SEA Games championship according to the task assigned by the leaders. Each tournament is a practical test of the operation of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team. When we meet with teams with advantages, we will find areas that are not suitable to overcome. The top requirement is that Vietnamese athletes must have tactical cohesion and do a good defensive job.
