Volleyball is developing the Competition Regulations for the 2026 National Sports Games.
According to the program, volleyball (indoor) will organize men's and women's events at Rach Mieu Gymnasium (HCMC) in December during the Congress program.
Through research, the Volleyball Competition Regulations of the 2026 National Sports Festival will be completed after Tet to submit to management levels before being officially issued before March 1.
When the Charter is issued, units registering to participate in men's and women's volleyball (indoor) will comply with the regulations. Registration checks, according to labor contracts, transfer contracts, for athletes will be carefully considered to avoid controversies.
The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has an Athlete Transfer Regulation applied since 2010.
At the 2022 National Sports Festival held in Quang Ninh, there was a case of a player reacting to the contract to compete. After that, this athlete was not allowed to register to participate by the Organizing Committee.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism has issued the framework Regulations of the 2026 National Sports Games. The competitions will be based on the basic contents of the framework Regulations to build their official Competition Regulations.
4 years ago, volleyball (indoor) at the 2022 National Sports Games had 10 men's and 10 women's teams registered to participate. The Army men's and women's Army teams won gold medals at the Games.
