Dang Thi Hong takes on a new role
Currently, Thai Nguyen women's club is competing in the final round of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament. In this tournament, the tea team will not have the service of Dang Thi Hong, related to the penalty from the recent U21 World Cup.
However, the main striker born in 2006 still appears in the Thai Nguyen team as a technical assistant. She supports the players in practicing, doing exercises during practice sessions as well as before the competition. Dang Thi Hong still maintains an excitement and enthusiasm for her work.
Previously, after the announcement that she would not be allowed to compete in professional tournaments of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, Dang Thi Hong left Vietinbank club to return to Thai Nguyen. She was a mainstay of the banking team in the second phase of the 2025 national championship.
Currently, in addition to taking on a new role in her home team, Dang Thi Hong also does online business to earn extra income.
