Women's team's opponents announce the list
Recently, the Indonesian women's team officially announced the list of athletes who are preparing to participate in the upcoming two tournaments, AVC Nations Cup and SEA V.League. The team from the archipelago will be the opponent of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in both tournaments.
The list includes Mediol Yoku, Putri Nur Hidayanti Agustin, Aulia Suci Nurfadilla, Ersisten Devega Sal contest contestant, Afifah Syahes (main striker); Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, Arsela Nuari Purnama (opposite setter); Myrasuci Indriani, Yolla Julyana, Rika putri Latri, Shella Bernadetha Onnan (middle blocker); Tisya Amallya Putri, Arreta Putri Amelian (second blocker); Eris Septia Wulandari, Tasya Aprilia Putri (libero).

Young women's team receives good news
In 2025, the Vietnam U21 Youth Women's Volleyball Team will participate in the World Cup U21 finals. To prepare for the important tournament, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet proposed to train the team from May 22.
Notably, fitness expert Karl Lim will be in charge of physical training for young players in the upcoming training session. Thus, this is the first time the young women's volleyball team has had a foreign fitness expert work together.
Mr. Karl Lim started coming to Vietnam to work with the Vietnam women's volleyball team in April 2025. Currently, this expert is in Quang Ninh to work with the Vietnam women's volleyball team in the first training session of 2025.
Men's team receives rest
After finishing the journey at the 2025 Asian Volleyball Club Championship, the Vietnam men's volleyball team has returned home. Coach Tran Dinh Tien's team has a few days off before focusing on preparing for upcoming tasks.
Currently, the players have returned home to visit their families and take a break. Opposite Nguyen Van Quoc Duy posted a photo in his hometown of Tra Vinh, showing that the male player was very comfortable and happy to return to his hometown after a period of training and competing with the team.
In the next few days, the players will return and continue to practice at the training site in Hanoi. Some players have shared that from the tournament in Japan, although competing in only 2 matches, they have learned a lot of professional experience and have the most important goal ahead, the 33rd SEA Games 2025.
