Thu Hoai wedding invitation on the field
On the afternoon of November 16, Vietinbank Club won 3-0 against Thai Binh in the relegation match of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship. This result helped the Banking team officially get a ticket to stay in the league.
After the match, setter Thu Hoai and her teammates celebrated their ticket to stay at the highest level of Vietnamese volleyball. Besides, on this occasion, Thu Hoai also took the opportunity to send pink wedding invitations to colleagues and close friends present at Lao Cai province's gymnasium.
According to the invitation, the 1998-born setter will get married to groom Bao Anh on December 1.
Coach Tuan Kiet is worried about personnel
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and Vietinbank have secured a ticket to stay in the 2024 National Volleyball Championship. The coach born in 1976 admitted that he and his team encountered many difficulties in preparing for phase 2, especially regarding foreign players.
The captain of the Vietinbank team also frankly shared his concerns about the team's personnel.
Mr. Kiet said: "After this tournament, we need to sit down and discuss. Vietinbank wants to stabilize the athlete force and have a good ranking, but with the current way of doing things, it is very difficult.
Vietinbank's domestic force has many young and potential faces, but it is impossible to become big stars. Every year, Vietinbank loses many players leaving the team, unable to keep them. We have to find a different way. Hopefully, the whole team will overcome difficulties and have better preparation in 2025."
Coach Thai Quang Lai talks about Ngoc Hoa's role
VTV Binh Dien Long An will face Duc Giang Chemicals in the final match of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship. Before this match, coach Thai Quang Lai of VTV Binh Dien Long An shared some noteworthy things.
"The team is a united group, working together. But the return of midfielder Ngoc Hoa to play has helped the team members become more confident.
During the professional preparation process, we encouraged player/coach Ngoc Hoa so that she could confidently return to play. Ngoc Hoa agreed. When Ngoc Hoa is on the field, we feel more confident because the team has an experienced senior to lead the team."
