Phase 2 of the men's category has 9 foreign players.
Phase 2 and the final round of the men's event of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship will start from November 21 to December 1 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. Nine men's teams including Sanest Khanh Hoa, Bien Phong, The Cong Tan Cang, Da Nang, Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh, Long An, Hanoi and Vinh Long have completed the registration of athletes to participate in the tournament.
There are 9 foreign players registered by 8 teams. The Tan Cang The Cong men's team has 2 foreign players, while the Hanoi team has no foreign players. Foreign players from Brazil (1 player), Thailand (3), Russia (2), Cuba (1), Cambodia (1), Kazakhstan (1) will be the factors that create dramatic matches with high professional quality.
"We predict that phase 2 will have many fierce competitions so the audience will have the opportunity to witness many top matches," said Mr. Dao Xuan Chung - in charge of volleyball (Department of Sports and Physical Training).
Exciting Hanoi Student Volleyball Tournament 2024
The 2024 Hanoi Student Volleyball Tournament takes place from November 19 to November 26 at Hanoi University, gathering 33 delegations from Universities, Colleges, Academies and Junior Colleges, including 27 men's teams and 24 women's teams.
In recent days, the tournament has been exciting, attracting many students and volleyball lovers to watch.
Mr. Dao Tien Dan - General Secretary of Hanoi University and Professional Sports Association hopes that the tournament will become an annual healthy playground for students to exchange, learn experiences and practice together to help develop physical and mental health.

The Western team is led by head coach Thai Quang Lai. He is the most successful coach in 2024 at the club level when he and VTV Binh Dien Long An won the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup runner-up titles, Hung Vuong Cup champion, U23 Vietnam Club Championship and National Championship.
