The U21 women's team gathered with 18 players
According to the representative of the volleyball department of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, the units in charge have agreed to let the players be proposed for training to work on the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team.
Therefore, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports officially decided to establish the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team with a list of 18 players.
The faces include Pham Quynh Huong, Lai Thi Khanh Huyen, Ngo Thi Bich Hue, Nguyen Lan Vy, Le Nhu Anh, Vo Thi Thao Nguyen, Le Bach Hop, Trinh Huynh Bao Ngoc, Pham Thuy Linh, Le Thuy Linh, Nguyen Van Ha, Ngo Thu Hoai, Pham Thi Khanh Lam, Nguyen Thi Kieu Oanh, Ha Kieu Vy, Nguyen Minh Thu, Quach Kim Luyen, Bui Thi Huyen.

The whole team will start gathering on May 22. In the immediate future, players will be managed by the National High-level Athletes Training Center but will be allowed to participate in picnicking in Quang Ninh to combine professional training with the Vietnam women's volleyball team.
Men's team returns to practice
The Vietnam men's volleyball team has ended its break after the 2025 Asian Club Championship. Coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team have returned to practice in Hanoi. The whole team continues to look forward to the tasks ahead.
In the recent Asian tournament, although they only competed in 2 matches, according to the players, professional experience is something they learned significantly to prepare for the next tournaments.
In 2025, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will also participate in 3 international tournaments including AVC Men's Volleyball Nations Cup 2025 and SEA V.League 2025 before competing in SEA Games 33.
Determining the teams participating in AVC Men's Volleyball Nations Cup 2025
AVC Men's Volleyball Nations Cup 2025 also known as AVC Nations Cup 2025 for men, was preceded by AVC Challenge Cup. This year's tournament takes place from June 17 to June 24 in Bahrain.
The 12 participating teams have been officially announced, including Bahrain (host), Qatar, Pakistan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Australia, Taiwan (China), Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and New Zealand.
Last year, Vietnam participated in the tournament and ranked 6th out of 12 participating teams.
