Korean coach praises Bich Tuyen
After Bich Thuy returned home, coach Lee Young-taik of the GS Caltex women's volleyball team and the interpreter accompanying the 2000-born middle blocker during her time in Korea were in Vietnam.
This coach said: "I heard Bich Thuy return to Vietnam and compete immediately. I wanted to see my student compete, and also wanted to see the Vietnamese player registered for a try-out, Bich Tuyen, so I went directly to Vietnam to observe.
I have seen some video tapes featuring Bich Tuyen. I know he is a good player. Although there is only 1 Vietnamese player trying out this year, I believe that in the following seasons, there will be more Vietnamese players coming to the Korean national championship".
In the match that Mr. Lee Young-taik attended this afternoon, Duc Giang Chemicals suffered a 0-3 defeat to LPB Ninh Binh. After the match, the Korean coach commented: "I watched Bich Tuyen play live. She plays much more powerful than in the video. If Bich Tuyen comes to Korea, she will definitely be an impressive athlete".
