Vietnamese women's volleyball team to the Philippines on June 3rd
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will go to the Philippines on June 3. The AVC Cup is held in Candon city (Philippines) from June 6 to 14.
Therefore, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was moved to the Philippines early to get acquainted with the competition venue. With such a travel schedule, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will only train in Bac Ninh for about 10 days to prepare for the tournament.
This is the 4th consecutive year that coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team have participated in the AVC Cup organized by the Asian Volleyball Federation. Previously, the tournament was called the AVC Challenge Cup. We were the champions of the tournament in 2023, 2024, 2025.
Coming to AVC Cup 2026, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team maintains the goal of striving to achieve the best results and focusing on defending the championship title held last year.
However, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet told the press that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will face many challenges at this year's tournament because the teams will definitely prepare good forces and will not underestimate the Vietnamese women's team.
Duy Phuc is celebrating his birthday
Player Trinh Duy Phuc was wished a happy birthday by head coach Federico Rampazzo and his teammates in the Vietnamese Men's Volleyball Team on May 27.
Expert Federico Rampazzo has started professional training for the Vietnamese men's volleyball team. Right in the early days in Vietnam, the Italian expert for the first time attended a meaningful birthday celebration organized by the Vietnamese men's volleyball team for player Trinh Duy Phuc.
Duy Phuc is a libero player. This is one of the experienced players of the LPBank Ninh Binh men's volleyball team.
Currently, 18 players of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team are training at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
Expert Federico Rampazzo will work with the players and has the first competition program in July, which is the SEA V.League 2026 tournament held with 2 legs in Indonesia and Thailand.
Changing the schedule of the National U23 Volleyball Tournament
The 2026 National U23 Volleyball Tournament will change the schedule to September. The initial expected time for the tournament is from June 13 to June 28.
However, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation decided to change the team time to a new scheduled time from September 5th to September 19th to avoid affecting the participation of the players.
The competition venue still takes place in Quang Ngai. Teams across the country have received official notifications from the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.
