Men's team gets acquainted with experts
Expert Federico Rampazzo (Italy) officially started working and met with the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team on May 26.
According to research, the whole team's spirit was excited by the presence of the Italian expert.
Mr. Federico Rampazzo will focus on building professional exercises to refresh the performance of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team. Currently, 18 players are training before the hot weather of the North, so they are guaranteed to avoid injuries and maintain the best physical condition.
SEA V.League 2026 will be the first professional program of expert Federico Rampazzo with the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team.
It is not ruled out that after 2 legs of this tournament, the coaching staff of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team will continue to make adjustments to add more training players. Currently, expert Federico Rampazzo has 18 players training at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
Female team builds professional plan
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have a plan to strengthen its force with more than 14 players.
According to the sharing of leaders of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and the Vietnam coaching staff at a meeting with national members on the evening of May 25 in Hanoi, the player force will be supplemented after the AVC Cup 2026.
How many more players will be added will be proposed by head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet to the Vietnam Volleyball Federation after returning from the Philippines.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has 14 strikers training at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports and will depart to compete in the AVC Cup 2026 from June 6 to June 14.
AVC Cup 2026 has 12 participating teams. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is the defending champion of the tournament. The remaining participating teams include the Philippines (host), Taiwan (China), Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Australia, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lebanon.
According to the draw, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will play their first match on the morning of June 6 local time to meet the Lebanese team at the AVC Cup 2026.
