According to records, from early morning, at the gate of Phu Tho Provincial Post Office (No. 1172, Hung Vuong Street, Tien Cat Ward, Viet Tri City), hundreds of fans came here to receive tickets to watch the first leg of the ASEAN Cup final between Vietnam and Thailand.
Tickets for the final are only sold online on the OneU app, so getting a ticket is a stroke of luck for many fans.
Mr. Nguyen Van Toan - a resident of Viet Tri city - shared: "My wife and I were lucky to buy tickets to watch this match. I am very excited because this is the last match of the Vietnamese team at Viet Tri Stadium in the ASEAN Cup 2024. I really hope that the team's luck when playing at Viet Tri Stadium will continue, continue for a long time."
According to the announcement of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), there are 2 locations to receive tickets, with Phu Tho being Post Office 291110 KHL Phu Tho (the above location), the remaining location is in Hanoi: Post Office 130656 Nguyen Co Thach - No. 14, Nguyen Co Thach, Cau Dien, Nam Tu Liem.
Ticket return time at the above 2 locations is from 8:00 to 17:00 on January 1 and January 2. Conditions for receiving tickets are: Have the original ID card/Passport for comparison.
The organizers also note that in case of authorization, the recipient must have a photocopy of the ID card/Passport of the authorizer and the authorized person; the authorization letter must clearly state the information of the authorizer and the authorized person as well as confirm that there is no complaint to the organizers about the number of tickets delivered/not delivered by the authorizer.
Previously, on December 30, 2024, right after the semi-final match, the Vietnam Football Federation opened ticket sales through an online application. However, a "web crash" incident prevented many people from buying tickets. After postponing the sale date, in just about 15 minutes, all tickets were sold out.
Notably, the Vietnam Football Federation and local organizing committee did not open direct ticket sales for the 2024 ASEAN Cup final like previous group stage and semi-final matches.
The first leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final between Vietnam and Thailand will take place at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025 at Viet Tri Stadium.
