The second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final took place at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho) on December 29. The Vietnamese team easily defeated Singapore with a score of 3-1 to win a ticket to the final of the tournament.
To support the Vietnamese team, many fans, artists and players' relatives were present at the stadium, immersing themselves in the enthusiastic atmosphere.
As in previous matches, the families of players Duy Manh and Quang Hai continued to appear at Viet Tri stadium.
However, changes in security caused the two families to experience similar problems at the ticket gate.
Accordingly, tickets to watch the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-finals do not include children. Therefore, little U (real name Duy Minh) - Duy Manh's son was blocked outside, unable to go inside with his mother Quynh Anh. This also made the family of the player born in 1996 confused and embarrassed.
Finally, Huyen Mi - wife of football player Van Quyet (Quynh Anh's sister) - gave up her ticket so that baby U could enter the stadium to watch his father play.
In addition, Chu Thanh Huyen also encountered a similar problem at the security gate. In order to make it to the match, Quang Hai's wife had to quickly find a new ticket to be able to bring the children into the stands.
The case of Quynh Anh and Chu Thanh Huyen has caused a lot of controversy on social networks. Many people think that security personnel should prioritize solving the above problem, not making it difficult for the players' families.
However, there are also many opposing opinions, saying that the ticket inspection department is doing its job properly.
Players' family members or anyone entering the field must comply with the regulations and instructions of the organizing committee.
To avoid further noise, Duy Manh's wife spoke up to clarify the trouble encountered at Viet Tri stadium.
Quynh Anh said: “I see a lot of people commenting on the ticket control issue. Actually, it is very simple and my family has already solved it. Finally, U was given a ticket by his uncle to watch his father play football. I also respect the ticket control regulations at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho.
The important thing is that our team has won a resounding victory and is moving towards the common goal of reaching the final. Everyone, let's be happy, everyone joins in the victory. As for the surrounding issues, we can ignore them all, the important thing is the victory of the Vietnamese team."
Duy Manh's wife also spoke up to defend the ticket inspector, praising him for his friendly behavior towards the mother and child.
Quynh Anh's move received positive feedback from the public. Everyone commented that the "WAG" had an appropriate way of behaving, resolving the controversy gently and decisively.
Through her explanation, Quynh Anh also called on everyone to forget the past and focus on the final match of the Vietnamese team.
The “Golden Star Warriors” will face Thailand in the first leg of the final on January 2, 2025 at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho.
