According to Lao Dong's research, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will arrange human resources to collect and analyze professional data during the two national teams (home) competing in the 33rd SEA Games.
It is expected that each Vietnam Men's and Women's Volleyball Team will have 1 person person person person personally responsible for this task.
In the international training and mission phase in early 2025, the Vietnamese men's and women's volleyball teams do not have specialized human resources to support the collection and analysis of data on volleyball's specialized software.
Therefore, each team has many difficulties in evaluating and analyzing the expertise of their opponents in the tournaments they have participated in.
Head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet (women's team) once said that collecting and analyzing professional data at matches is necessary for coaching staff to evaluate the players' expertise.
After the matches, drawing experience will be effective if there are actual analysis indicators.
Head coach Tran Dinh Tien (men's team) also expressed that modern volleyball needs the support of technology, so the national team's support is appropriate.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team is training in Quang Ninh while the men's team is training in Bac Ninh. The training program aims to achieve results at the 33rd SEA Games in December in Thailand.
Recently, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation also said that each team will not train abroad but will practice full-time in the country until they go to Thailand.
Currently, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team has 20 players while the men's team consists of 18 players. The coaching staff will reduce the official squad of 14 players after the training session ends to leave for Thailand to compete.
At the 32nd SEA Games in 2023 in Cambodia, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation once assigned Mr. Nguyen Trung Nam to collect and analyze data according to software to support the two teams.
At the end of the 32nd SEA Games, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team won the silver medal while the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team won the bronze medal.
