Experts assess that Tran Thi Thanh Thuy had a successful 2025 in terms of expertise. In the whole year of last year, the number 1 main attacker of Vietnamese volleyball maintained stable form and won many valuable results with the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team.
She started the achievement of 2025 with the runner-up title of the Asian Women's Club Cup (AVC Champions League 2025) with VTV Binh Dien Long An team.
After that, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy won the AVC Nations Cup 2025 championship, VTV Cup 2025 runner-up, SEA V.League 2025 first leg champion, participated in the 2025 World Championship and won a silver medal at SEA Games 33 with the national team.
At the club level, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy returned to Japan to compete from the second half of 2025. Therefore, she is not named in the squad to win the National Championship 2025 with VTV Binh Dien Long An.
However, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy's professional contributions to this team in phase 1 of the 2025 National Championship are still recognized.
This is not the first time Tran Thi Thanh Thuy has won the Most Favorite Athlete category of the Victory Cup award.

Thanh Thuy is currently the player holding the record for the number of times she has played abroad in the Vietnamese women's volleyball scene. She has participated in tournaments in Thailand, Taiwan (China), Turkey, Japan, Indonesia... Currently, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy wears the Gunma Green Wings shirt at the Japanese championship.
According to the plan, she will return home at the end of April 2026 when the tournament in Japan ends. It is likely that Thanh Thuy will participate in the VTV9 - Binh Dien International Women's Volleyball Cup 2026 with VTV Binh Dien Long An team in May.
