This year's sports festival has 17 military and martial arts teams and 62 People's Police sports teams, with more than 1,900 officers, soldiers, and athletes from police units and localities in the area.
From May 21 to 28, athletes compete in many events such as shooting, obstacle course, People's Police martial arts, 7-a-side men's football and pickleball.
The new point of this year's sports festival is that the short stick sparring event is put into competition for the first time. The shooting event is organized for the first time at night, combining the use of explosives and professional smoke to improve combat effectiveness.

According to the Organizing Committee, despite the intense hot weather, the athletes still competed with determination, responsibility, and solidarity. Many teams such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Cao Bang and Son La showed skills, bravery, and flexible situation handling skills through each performance.
A highlight of the sports festival is the opening ceremony held on the evening of May 25 on the shore of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay, which was broadcast live, with the participation of many units in the People's Police force demonstrating their strength, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch and cheer.
At the end of the sports festival, the Hanoi Police Team won the first overall prize. The Organizing Committee also awarded the second overall prize to 3 teams and the third overall prize to 5 teams with outstanding achievements.
