Archer Do Thi Anh Nguyet did not participate in the training of the Vietnamese Archery Team in 2026.

The coaching staff of the Vietnamese archery team has gathered core players to prepare professionally from January 2026, but Do Thi Anh Nguyet is absent.

On March 16, the Vietnamese archery team continued to supplement training forces at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center. In the 2 training phases, archer Do Thi Anh Nguyet did not participate. Currently, the Vietnamese archery team is training recurve archers to prepare for ASIAD 20.

Anh Nguyet is a player who participated in the Paris Olympics (France) 2024. The female archer is one of the qualified athletes.

However, she suddenly got married after SEA Games 33. Therefore, in the immediate future, this archer wants to focus on her own home. Anh Nguyet's husband is badminton player Le Duc Phat.

The Vietnamese archery team competed in SEA Games 33 in Thailand but did not win a gold medal. Do Thi Anh Nguyet participated in the Games, but she only won a women's team bronze medal.

Despite the absence of Anh Nguyet in the current training camp, the Vietnamese archery team still has many good players such as Le Quoc Phong, Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi, Loc Thi Dao, Trieu Huyen Diep. In April, the archers will participate in the 2026 National Excellent Archer Competition in Quang Ninh.

Since the beginning of 2026, the Vietnamese archery team has parted ways with expert Park Chae-soon (Korea).
