    Coach Park Hang Seo has experience when participating as an assistant coach of the National Championship of Korea in the two World Cups 1994 in the US and the World Cup 2002 in Japan - Korea. In particular, in the role of assistant number 1 of coach Guus Hiddind at the 2002 World Cup, Coach Park contributed to the success of the Korean team - the first country in Asia to win 4th place in the world championship.

    Then, as Head Coach of the U23 Korea, Coach Park Hang Seo led the team to win the Bronze Medal at the Busan Asian Game in September 2002. After that, Coach Park achieved good results when leading a number of professional Korean clubs.

    It is expected that VFF and Coach Park Hang Seo will agree on the final details of the contract and hold an official signing ceremony in Hanoi in October 2017.

    Previously, VFF also proposed the criteria for recruiting coaches for the National Championship. First, the selector must have an AFC pro professional coaching certificate or equivalent. Second, he was a leader of professional clubs or DTQG. Third, he knows how to use English. Four is that it was not subject to disciplinary action and did not violate the law.

    Finally, accept the salary and bonus according to negotiations. In addition, VFF also prioritizes former professional players and coaches under the age of 60 as of the date of signing the contract.
