Today (6.), the AVC Nations Cup 2025 volleyball tournament will officially kick off at the Dong Anh District Gymnasium (Hanoi). The Vietnam women's volleyball team participated in the tournament as the host team and the defending champion.
To have a thorough professional calculation for the tournament, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet worked with a team of assistants with many years of experience. One of them is former player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa.
AVC Nations Cup 2025 is the first official tournament for the former middle blocker born in 1987 to join the Vietnam women's volleyball team as an assistant coach.

At the age of 38, the former captain of the national women's volleyball team is having a busy 2025 in both roles. In the tournaments in early 2025, Ngoc Hoa returned to play as a middle blocker for VTV Binh Dien Long An team. She is an important factor in the Western team's squad in domestic tournaments to the continental arena.
In addition, she also took on the role of head coach of the VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team participating in youth tournaments. As for the national team, AVC Nations Cup 2025 will be the first tournament Ngoc Hoa works in the coaching staff.
