Players who lose concentration will lose their position
The Vietnam women's volleyball team has been present at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) since June to continue professional training towards participating in the AVC Nations Cup 2025. Recorded directly the training sessions prepared by head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet for the players at this time, the spirit was very urgent.
We have registered 14 players to participate in the AVC Nations Cup 2025. This is our first international mission this year. The Vietnam women's volleyball team has 4 other important international tournaments to prepare professionally before participating in the 33rd SEA Games. All players must stay focused and follow the training plan set by the coaching staff, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet discussed.
The coaching staff of the Vietnam women's volleyball team has gathered 20 players in the squad. 14 of them will participate in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 International Women's Tournament. Mr. Kiet affirmed that the number of players he registered to participate in each tournament will be different. From that, it can be seen that no player is considered to have a fixed position.
After the AVC Nations Cup 2025 International Women's Tournament, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team continues to participate in the VTV Cup 2025 International Women's Tournament (late June 2025) in Vinh Phuc. Therefore, 6 players not on the list for the AVC Nations Cup 2025 Women's International Tournament are still practicing non-stop to find opportunities to compete for themselves.
"Everyone must be ready to be registered by the coaching staff at the decisive time," Mr. Kiet added.
Aiming for equal opportunities
There are more than 5 months left until the 33rd SEA Games. Now, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team is training in the early stages of the professional training cycle in 2025.
Looking at the force, it is easy to see that coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet did not focus too many new players on the national team because he and his colleagues have shaped the playing style of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team for nearly 3 years. If there are many new faces, building a playing style will take a lot of time to prepare.
Therefore, familiar hitters continue to play the main role in the framework lineup such as Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Le Thanh Thuy, Pham Thi Hien...
The requirement is that the team has discipline and complies with tactical tactics in the training cycle. To maintain stability, the coaching staff of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team also requires players to be restrained from appearing on social networks and need to ensure their expertise is at the highest level.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet affirmed that his players focus on each task to complete it best instead of thinking too much. Right in the first task of the AVC Nations Cup 2025 International Women's Tournament, we are determined to start smoothly.
The captain of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team added: "Getting married is always a pressure. We do not want players to think too much about the 33rd SEA Games, but first of all, they must focus their expertise on specific tournaments and tasks. Each match will be one time the player accumulates more experience, so concentration is necessary".
From June 4, international teams began to arrive in Vietnam to prepare before the 2025 AVC Nations Cup International Women's Tournament. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team aims to win a ticket to the final and strive to keep the championship Cup in Vietnam.
