According to Lao Dong's investigation, the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will be held immediately after the Hung Vuong Cup 2026 ends.
The program will take place on April 28th in Hanoi. The 7th term (2021-2026) has ended its working time. Therefore, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation proceeds to elect personnel and deploy the work of the new term, term 8.
Through investigation, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will elect a new President at the 8th term Congress.
In the 7th term (2021-2026), the Chairman of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation is Mr. Hoang Ngoc Huan (former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Cable Television Corporation - VTVCab). The 7th term has 24 members of the Executive Committee.
Personnel preparation for the 8th term Congress of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has been reported to the management level and approved for candidates to elect the position of Chairman. When the Congress works, the proposed number of Executive Committee members will be approved and then elections will be conducted.
Currently, volleyball is one of the sports that receives great attention from Vietnamese society.
