On April 4, Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee (Dak Lak province) said that functional agencies had just issued birth certificates to 3 cases in difficult circumstances in the area.
The supported cases include Y.G. H, H.N. H and Y.D. H (all residing in Hoa Phu commune), born from 2003 to 2007.
Due to many reasons, in recent years, the children have not been registered for birth, have not been able to go to school and do not have permanent residence registration.
After being issued birth certificates, the children's families expressed their joy that from now on they will be legally recognized, ensuring citizen rights.
According to the Commune People's Committee, timely issuance of birth certificates helps children exercise basic personal rights according to regulations. Currently, the commune police have collected personal identification codes, registered permanent residence and are completing dossiers for citizen identification cards.
Previously, the People's Procuracy of Region 1 (Dak Lak province) worked with households in M're hamlet, proposed and coordinated with the locality to complete procedures for issuing birth certificates for the above cases, ensuring the legitimate rights of children.
