Gala "Glory of Vietnamese Sports 2026" was held on the evening of March 27 at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi), as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Physical Education and Sports (March 27, 1946 – March 27, 2026).
This is not only an opportunity to honor outstanding achievements, but also an opportunity to look back at the journey of Vietnamese sports with national history.

The organization of the Gala is not only to honor achievements but also to arouse the spirit of emulation and the will to overcome difficulties in the sports community. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to spread the message about the role of physical education and sports in improving people's health and quality of life.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration said: "This is an opportunity for the sports team to review the process of building and growing, and at the same time honor the continuous contributions of generations who have participated in the overall development of the industry, thereby creating a foundation for the next goals.

The atmosphere of the ceremony was solemn but also full of emotions, when generations of athletes and coaches together reviewed the 80-year journey of development. In addition, at the award ceremony for athletes and coaches with outstanding achievements in the past year.
At the Gala, the best faces of Vietnamese sports in 2025 were honored such as athlete Trinh Thu Vinh, player Nguyen Dinh Bac, athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh, Hoang Thi My Tam, Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien, Le Van Cong...
Honoring not only stops at recognizing achievements but also contributes to spreading the positive values of sports to the community, creating motivation for the young generation to continue striving.

In addition, the Gala "Glory of Vietnamese Sports 2026" is organized with the close integration of activities of the Youth Union, creating a meaningful exchange and connection space between generations of young officials, coaches, and athletes, becoming a practical activity to promote the pioneering and creative role of the youth of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector in "Youth Month".
