The team from the land of Thu has recently recruited striker Cao Quoc Khanh from Dong Nai. This player born in 2002 participated in the training session of U23 Vietnam under coach Philippe Troussier and is one of the promising strikers of domestic football.
After 2 seasons competing in the First Division for Dong Nai, Cao Quoc Khanh decided to seek a new challenge in the V.League when he accepted to join Binh Duong.
Previously, Quoc Khanh had made his mark with the title of top scorer of the Second Division with 11 goals. However, in the last season, he only scored 3 goals in 18 matches for Dong Nai.
However, coach Nguyen Anh Duc still highly appreciated the development potential of this 22-year-old striker and brought him to Binh Duong in the context that key striker Bui Vi Hao is in the recovery stage from injury.
Joining a team with a professional operating system like Binh Duong is an opportunity for Cao Quoc Khanh to accumulate experience, improve his expertise and assert himself in the highest arena of Vietnamese football.
According to the original plan, he could be tested in the winger position to support familiar names such as Tien Linh and foreign players.
Not only stopping at Cao Quoc Khanh, Binh Duong club has also added two other domestic players, midfielder Phan Thanh Hau from Quang Nam and To Phuong Thinh from Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
In the next few days, the team plans to finalize at least 3 other domestic new players and continue to screen foreign players before entering the training phase to prepare for the new season.
