However, entering the new season, the main support resources have not been there, causing the team's preparation work to stagnate. Although the registration deadline with the organizing committee has ended from July 12, 2025, up to now, Long An club has not made a final decision.
According to Lao Dong, in case they continue to participate in the 2025-2026 First Division, this team will compete under the new name of Tay Ninh.
