The training program for 4x400m women's relay athletes of Vietnamese athletics starts today, August 1. It is expected that the training time will last 1 month.
This is a training session for women's 4x400m relay athletes to improve their expertise to be ready to compete in ASIAD 20 in September in Japan.
Last June, the 4x400m women's relay team of Vietnamese athletics won a gold medal at the 2026 Asian Relay Championships with a time of 3 minutes 31 seconds 16.
Competing at that time, we had 4 players including Quach Thi Lan, Nguyen Thi Hang, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Nguyen Thi Ngoc.
All 4 faces above were sent to China for training at this time.
Last year, the 4x400m women's relay team of Vietnamese athletics was trained for 3 weeks in France.
The trained athletes include Le Thi Tuyet Mai, Nguyen Thi Hang, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh and Nguyen Thi Ngoc.
Currently, the women's 4x400m relay team is the key professional team of Vietnamese athletics.
At the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships held in Korea, we won a silver medal in the women's 4x400m relay with a result of 3 minutes 34 seconds 77.
During 1 month of training in China, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese athletics team expects the athletes to improve their expertise to have the best results and confidently participate in ASIAD 20.
In previous international competitions, 4 athletes Quach Thi Lan, Nguyen Thi Hang, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Nguyen Thi Ngoc have achieved a result of 3 minutes 30 seconds 81 at the 2024 Asian Relay Championships to set a national record.
