9 players will learn from experience after the 2026 AFC U23 Championship to adjust their expertise.
The above tournament is also the last international task that the Vietnamese athletics team prepares professionally in the cycle towards ASIAD 20.
On the track at the 2026 AFC U23 Championship, the Vietnamese athletics athlete won 5 medals (2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals).
The athletes who won medals this time include Ta Ngoc Tuong, Le Thi Tuyet, Ha Thi Thuy Hang, Le Thi Cam Tu. Athlete Le Thi Tuyet alone won 2 bronze medals.
They will continue to train according to the training program of the Vietnam Athletics Team.
In August, the 2026 National U23 Athletics Championship will be held in Ca Mau. This will be an opportunity for young Vietnamese athletics athletes to continue competing to show their expertise.
It is expected that some athletes from the Vietnamese Youth Athletics Team and Vietnamese Athletics Team will be given conditions by the coaching staff to compete to check their achievements in the tournament in Ca Mau.
