Snooker Duong Quoc Hoang is ready to travel to the US to participate in the Florida Open 2025 9-cushion pool billiards tournament. The tournament is held from August 5 to August 10.
In addition to Duong Quoc Hoang, Vietnamese billiards has other participants including Luong Duc Thien, Le Quang Trung, Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Pham Phuong Nam, Dang Hoang Huy, Nguyen Hai Dang, Dang Nguyen Gia Lam.
The Florida Open 2025 is the main tournament (major) in the World Nineball Tour system of the world with a total prize money of 200,000 USD (more than 5 billion VND). The champion will receive a prize of 40,000 USD. This year, 256 players from around the world participated in the tournament.
According to the program, Duong Quoc Hoang will have a long competition journey in the US from August 2 to August 24. In addition to the Florida Open 2025, the Vietnamese player will also participate in 2 other international tournaments during his time here to improve his skills.
In mid-July, Duong Quoc Hoang participated in the 2025 9-a-side World pool billiards Championship in Saudi Arabia but did not make it to the final round. In the above tournament, players Luong Duc Thien and Pham Phuong Nam also participated but stopped after the qualifying round.
In the Matchroom World pool Ranking, Duong Quoc Hoang is the Vietnamese player with the highest position: 30th.
