Athletes compete in distances of 10km, 25km, 55km and 100km, on the route known as the "cloud ridge", where athletes immerse themselves in the sea of clouds, mountains and forests and the Northwest breathing.
The organizers said that the entire running route has been reviewed, directional signs have been posted, medical - rescue forces have been arranged and water supply points along the route to ensure absolute safety for participants.
Present in Ta Xua early to get used to the terrain, Mr. Yamamoto from Tokyo, Japan, participated in the 100km distance, sharing: The large slope, the terrain changes rapidly with the weather, making the running route very challenging. But that is what makes Ta Xua a beautiful and memorable running course. I hope the athletes will both conquer the top and fully enjoy the Northwest nature.
Not only a physical race, this year's race is also an opportunity to promote local tourism. Mr. Do Van Xiem, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ta Xua commune, said that the commune has prepared cloud hunting spots, accommodation services, specialty agricultural product booths and cultural experience activities to serve tourists.
When athletes and tourists share images of roads, clouds, villages, etc., Ta Xua tourism will spread more widely, said Mr. Xiem.
At the end of the competition events, the Organizing Committee awarded 40 first, second, third and top prizes to outstanding athletes in each distance, two men's and women's events, concluding the season with many beautiful impressions on the clouds of thousands of Ta Xua.
